Well damn if I didn't finally update this old site. You'll find the pointers to free software LIVE again! Yep, they point to free software. And I updated the news/'zines selections for What's New with Web Technology and What's New with Web Business. Both provide more balanced views of their subjects. The long term project - fullfilling what I promise on the homepage of this web site - is still in work. I'm assembling the URLs for privacy web sites, virus web sites, hacker web sites, cryptology web sites and information warfare web sites. If you're here for that information - hang on a bit longer. I will put it all in order before the start of Summer 2000. ( Aiming for June 2000.)

Maintaining an Internet Presence is truly a strange experience. It's living in two worlds - this one is ethereal and distant from my thoughts. Life in the "Real World" takes up most of my attention. When I visit this 'World I respond to it as I do to my lawn. "Damn, I SHOULD be taking better care of it. Look at those weeds/broken URLs."

I hired someone to cut the lawn. I'm looking for a free URL link-checking service.

I got one unsolicited offer for the HomeWorlds domain name. I'm not looking to sell it. (But if someone comes along - bona fide - with a proposal to buy it for $1,000,000 US. or more - that would catch my attention. Come on, now, get a grip. Won't happen.) Surprisingly this web site gets quite a few visitors per month. I get e-mail from people helped by the information here. I appreciate that. So that's why I finally updated near everything.
